Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national unit both of which he vice-captains.

Cahill began his busines playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he met the Aston Villa Academy and prolonged his proliferation. In 2004, he joined Burnley on a season-long credit, where he play-act long before returning to stir his Aston Villa debut.
