Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who dallies as a centre back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national squad both of which he vice-captains.



Cahill embarked his profession playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he joined the Aston Villa Academy and persisted his blooming. In 2004, he participated Burnley on a season-long lend, where he acted well before returning to draw his Aston Villa debut.
