Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who dallies as service centres back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national unit both of which he vice-captains.



Cahill embarked his career playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he met the Aston Villa Academy and resumed his growth. In 2004, he participated Burnley on a season-long lend, where he acted long before returning to utter his Aston Villa debut. Afterwards, he signed for hometown club Sheffield United on a three-month credit slew. On 30 January 2008, he signed for Bolton Wanderers for nearly PS5 million. Cahill played well for Bolton through the years, cementing a target in the first team and becoming vice-captain. He did 130 conference images and valued 13 league purposes for Bolton. In January 2012, Cahill indicated for Chelsea for nearly PS7 million. Cahill won the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup in his introduction season at Chelsea, and went on to win the UEFA Europa League, League Cup and Premier League.



Cahill is an England international with over 50 covers and represented the person at the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He was eligible to play for either England or the Republic of Ireland, but chose to play for England. In June 2009, Cahill was called up to the England squad for the join against Kazakhstan. Nonetheless, this is the only way made his debut on 3 September 2010, coming on as a substitute against Bulgaria. On 29 March 2011, Cahill prepared his first start for the national team in the friendly against Ghana. He valued his first international goal against Bulgaria in a UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier.
