David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who toy for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national crew. Chiefly a center defender, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.
After starting out at Vitoria, he endeavoured to Benfica, standing with the squad five seasons( three ended ). He met Chelsea in January 2011, earning the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and acquiring the UEFA Europa League the following items season. In June 2014, he transferred to Paris Saint-Germain for a reward of PS50 million( EUR6 2 million ), a nature record move for human rights defenders , and won all four domestic rivals in his first season in French football. He returned to Chelsea in August 2016 in a PS30 million transportation.
David Luiz established his full international debut for Brazil in 2010 and has since deserved over 50 caps. He was a member of the Brazilian squads which won the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup and reached the semi-finals of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
