David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national squad. Principally a primary supporter, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.



After starting out at Vitoria, he endeavoured to Benfica, continuing with the fraternity five seasons( three terminated ). He affiliated Chelsea in January 2011, acquiring the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and winning the UEFA Europa League the following items season. In June 2014, he transferred to Paris Saint-Germain for a cost of PS50 million( EUR6 2 million ), a world preserve change for human rights defenders , and earned all four domestic rivals in his first season in French football.
