Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who frisks as service centres back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national team both of which he vice-captains.
Cahill began his job playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he met the Aston Villa Academy and continued his exploitation. In 2004, he connected Burnley on a season-long credit, where he play-act well before returning to move his Aston Villa debut. Afterwards, he signed for hometown guild Sheffield United on a three-month loan agreement. On 30 January 2008, he indicated for Bolton Wanderers for approximately PS5 million. Cahill acted well for Bolton through the years, cementing a residence in the first team and becoming vice-captain. He established 130 tournament forms and scored 13 tournament objectives for Bolton. In January 2012, Cahill signed for Chelsea for nearly PS7 million. Cahill won the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup in his introduction season at Chelsea, and will continue to be triumph the UEFA Europa League, League Cup and Premier League.
Cahill is an England international with over 50 ceilings and represented the person at the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He was eligible to play for either England or the Republic of Ireland, but chose to play for England. In June 2009, Cahill was called up to the England squad for the accord against Kazakhstan. However, he only drew his debut on 3 September 2010, coming on as a substitute against Bulgaria. On 29 March 2011, Cahill offset his first start for the national squad in the friendly against Ghana. He scored his first international aim against Bulgaria in a UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier.
