David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who toy for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national crew. Principally a central guard, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.



After starting out at Vitoria, he moved to Benfica, continuing with the sorority five seasons( three ended ). He connected Chelsea in January 2011, prevailing the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and winning the UEFA Europa League the following items season. In June 2014, he transferred to Paris Saint-Germain for a reward of PS50 million( EUR6 2 million ), a world-wide record transpose for a defender , and triumphed all four domestic competitions in his first season in French football. David Luiz impelled his full international debut for Brazil in 2010 and had now been earned over 50 ceilings. He was a member of the Brazilian squads which won the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup and reached the semi-finals of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
