Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who dallies as service centres back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national squad both of which he vice-captains.
Cahill inaugurated his vocation playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he attached the Aston Villa Academy and continued his occurrence. In 2004, he met Burnley on a season-long lend, where he acted long before returning to compile his Aston Villa debut. On 29 March 2011, Cahill drew his first start for the national squad in the friendly against Ghana. He scored his first international goal against Bulgaria in a UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier.
