Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who represents as service centres back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national crew both of which he vice-captains.
Cahill embarked his career playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he assembled the Aston Villa Academy and persisted his developing. In 2004, he met Burnley on a season-long loan, where he played well before returning to build his Aston Villa debut. Later, he signed for hometown team Sheffield United on a three-month lend cope. On 30 January 2008, he ratified for Bolton Wanderers for approximately PS5 million. Cahill acted well for Bolton through the years, cementing a sit in the first team and becoming vice-captain. He manufactured 130 conference figures and orchestrated 13 conference goals for Bolton. In January 2012, Cahill ratified for Chelsea for approximately PS7 million. Cahill won the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup in his entry season at Chelsea, and went on to earn the UEFA Europa League, League Cup and Premier League.
Cahill is an England international with over 50 ceilings and represented the society at the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He was eligible to play for either England or the Republic of Ireland, but chose to play for England. In June 2009, Cahill was called up to the England squad for the accord against Kazakhstan. Nonetheless, he only fixed his introduction on 3 September 2010, coming on as a substitute against Bulgaria. On 29 March 2011, Cahill moved his first start for the national crew in the friendly against Ghana. He composed his first international aim against Bulgaria in a UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier.
