Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who plays as service centres back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national squad both of which he vice-captains.
Cahill began his profession playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he met the Aston Villa Academy and prolonged his exploitation. In 2004, he joined Burnley on a season-long credit, where he played long before returning to offset his Aston Villa debut. Subsequently, he signed for hometown club Sheffield United on a three-month credit agreement. On 30 January 2008, he indicated for Bolton Wanderers for approximately PS5 million. Cahill accomplished well for Bolton through its first year, cementing a place in the first team and becoming vice-captain. He met 130 organization figures and scored 13 league purposes for Bolton.
