David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national crew. Chiefly a central supporter, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.



After starting out at Vitoria, he moved to Benfica, persisting with the sorority five seasons( three ended ). He attached Chelsea in January 2011, triumphing the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and winning the UEFA Europa League the following season.
