David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who dallies for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national squad. Chiefly a center defender, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.
After starting out at Vitoria, he endeavoured to Benfica, standing with the club five seasons( three ended ). He met Chelsea in January 2011, triumphing the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and winning the UEFA Europa League the following items season. In June 2014, he transferred to Paris Saint-Germain for a cost of PS50 million( EUR6 2 million ), a macrocosm chronicle transfer for a defender , and acquired all four domestic rivalries in his first season in French football. He returned to Chelsea in August 2016 in a PS30 million give.
