David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national unit. Principally a primary defender, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.



After starting out at Vitoria, he endeavoured to Benfica, continuing with the team five seasons( three terminated ). He participated Chelsea in January 2011, acquiring the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and acquiring the UEFA Europa League the following items season. In June 2014, he transferred to Paris Saint-Germain for a fee of PS50 million( EUR6 two million ), a nature chronicle transpose for a defender , and earned all four domestic races in his first season in French football.
