David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who represents for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national crew. Mainly a primary advocate, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.



After starting out at Vitoria, he moved to Benfica, remaining with the fraternity five seasons( three complete ). He connected Chelsea in January 2011, winning the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and winning the UEFA Europa League the following items season. In June 2014, he transferred to Paris Saint-Germain for a cost of PS50 million( EUR6 two million ), a world-wide record carry for a defender , and triumphed all four domestic challengers in his first season in French football.
